Monday's Message of Hope

Hello, dear friend
There are times, and then there are times. And we are definitely living in the latter. We see events transpiring and wonder if people have lost their collective minds. Yet, God’s word assures us that he is still in control. Let’s look at a verse in Acts:
And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their preappointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings (Acts 17:26, NKJV)
Written during a time when Christianity invaded the known world with fervent passion for the Christ, Paul made certain that the pagan culture knew who determined times. Their unknown god was none other than the Lord of heaven and earth.
Since we live in days with Bibles and sermons at our fingertips, we don’t have to wonder. We know the stability of our time comes from him. We know who holds our times in his hands. We know times of refreshing are found in him. And now we know the great God determines our preappointed times. Not our own plans, not our spouses, not random people, not the devil. God does. So let’s act like it. This week let’s set our hearts in agreement with God as he has already determined our preappointed times.
