Monday's Message of Hope

Crowning the Year!

Hello, dear friend

A very painful, frustrating year has ended. But will the new year be any different? I believe it can be. Let’s look at a scripture from the Psalms:

You crown the year with Your goodness, and Your paths drip with abundance. (Ps 65:11, NKJV)

I love the imagery in this verse—God placing a crown of his goodness on the year 2021. In the original Hebrew, the word crown means to surround. In other words, Almighty God, the Mighty Breasted One, surrounds the entire year with his goodness. Not just one day, or special holidays, but every day.

From the first second of January 1st until the last second of December 31st,  this year, 2021, is surrounded with his incredible, unfathomable goodness. Every day carries the expression of his goodness. What a precious gift to remember as we step into this year!
