Monday's Message of Hope

Hello, my dear friend!
These past few weeks have uncovered some remarkable benefits from the Hebrew meaning of wait— bind together by twisting; gather together; patiently wait—and this Monday Message of Hope is no different. In fact, Psalm 25 has another gem in verse 21:
Let integrity and uprightness preserve me, for I wait for You.
Just think on those two godly characteristics for a minute. Integrity and uprightness. They preserve, guard, and protect us while we wait for God to move, to act, to show us favor, to restore, to heal, to ________. You fill in the blank.
In other words, integrity and uprightness can keep us from wrong choices, wrong motives, wrong actions while we wait. What a powerful promise from the Great I AM, and one we desperately need in these uncertain times. I don’t know about you, but I made a lot of wrong choices with wrong motives leading to wrong actions in my past because I didn’t let integrity and uprightness keep me safe. I don’t want to make those mistakes again, so I intend to walk out the truth of this verse. I hope you do too.
While waiting for God this week, choose integrity and uprightness. If you’ve struggled in either area, ask Holy Spirit to show you the steps to take that will preserve you while you wait. He won’t disappoint you.
