Monday's Message of Hope

Hello, dear friend
Welcome to the New Year! A brand new year, never known before lies in front of us. And that word “new” stirs ups anticipation in our souls when we hear it. While new clothes, a new car, or even a new house bring excitement, nothing comes close to the new things God promises us from his Word. Let’s look at a few:
He has put a new song in my mouth—Praise to our God; many will see it and fear, and will trust in the Lord. (Psalm 40:3, NKJV)
Behold, the former things have come to pass, and new things I declare; before they spring forth I tell you of them. (Isaiah 42:9, NKJV)
You have heard; see all this. And will you not declare it? I have made you hear new things from this time, even hidden things, and you did not know them. (Isaiah 48:6, NKJV)
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. (2 Corinthians 5:17, NKJV)
Let’s really soak in these wonderful truths.
He gives us a new song to sing. In other words, God gives us a new life, a new way of living. And the best part is that others will trust in Him when they see us.
The Lord declares new things to us before they happen. Who else can do that but God? What a treasure!
He causes us to hear new things, things that have been hidden. How many times have we not known how to solve a problem, have had no clue—and then God reveals what we need to know? I can’t even begin to count the number.
Thank God, thank God for 2 Corinthians 5:17! I am a new creation in Christ. I don’t know how that happens, but I am eternally grateful that God doesn’t leave me the way he found me.
I intend to press into these realities of God’s Word this week. I hope you join me.
