Monday's Message of Hope

Hello, dear friend
Time seems to dominate our world right now, and I would like to delve into the subject a bit more.
For a variety of reasons, the ease we have walked in as believers appears to be at an end. Harassment and bullying tactics against Christians are in full force, not just in America, but across the globe. Fear and anxiety of what lies ahead already overwhelm countless people, including the saved and sanctified.
If we look in the Scriptures, we find that King David lived in perilous times and well knew of the fiery trials brought by persecution. A key verse, Psalm 31:15, offers a tremendous source of encouragement as we navigate our own battles:
My times are in Your hand;
Deliver me from the hand of my enemies,
And from those who persecute me. (NKJV)
Notice where our times are? In the hand of God. Literally. And he only needs one hand to hold them. Can we come up with a better place to put our times? I don’t think so. Furthermore, the Lord saves us from those who actually persecute us. What a powerful verse to feed on! I hope you chew on these words and let them feed your spirit and soul this week. I know I will be enjoying them with you.
