Hello, dear friend

As we close out this tumultuous year, the series on waiting concludes with two powerful verses from Habakkuk:

Then the Lord answered me and said:

“Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it.

For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie.

Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.” (Hab 2:2–3, NKJV)

No matter how old or young, rich or poor, strong or weak, God has a vision for us. A plan he specifically planned for each of us to fulfill. From Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope,” to Ephesians 2:10, “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them,” we see that the Great I AM is resolute in carrying out His kind intentions in us and through us.

But what do we do with what he’s given us? Considering all the advice about New Year resolutions, this is one area we don’t want to ignore—the vision God has placed within us. The Lord exhorts us through the prophet to do a few things concerning it. Write it down. Make it plain. Run with it. Wait for it.

That seems a bit contradictory—running with and waiting for the same thing. How do we do manage both? Actually, it’s easier than we think. For instance, we could learn new skills to prepare us for what lies ahead. We may need to overcome character flaws that would hinder us. We definitely need to let the fruit of the spirit mature. All of these and more can take place as we run towards the vision while we wait for its manifestation.

I don’t know about you, but I have a vision on the inside of me that is so big only God could have put it there, and He’s the only one who bring it to pass. This year, I’m going to write it down, make it plain, run with it, and wait for it with great joy! How about you?

The vision is becoming much clearer! Writing a book, which I don't even know the framework yet other than devotionals and empowering wounded/traumatized individuals to seek God & find healing through my personal experiences.

Happy New Year! Pondering I've come to a conclusion :Some of my visions may be aspirations! I'm laying it all at his feet! I want only His vision , birthed from His heart! Out with the old in with the NEW! NEW HEART NEW VISION! I WANT TO MOVE FORWARD IN HIS POWER WASHED IN HIS BLOOD AN OVERCOMER! !

My vision is to create a book with my daughter (my poems and her art work) to pass to the next generations in our family. That means I must wait for the funding to help me move at least partially to Oregon, but God is making it happen, piece by piece. Praying for God's vision for both you and me,
