Monday's Message of Hope

Hello, my dear friend!
Another verse that holds the meaning of bind together by twisting; gather together; patiently wait carries a powerful truth:
And it will be said in that day:
“Behold, this is our God; we have waited for Him, and He will save us.
This is the Lord; we have waited for Him;
We will be glad and rejoice in His salvation.” (Isaiah 25:9, NKJV)
These words hold a deeper meaning for us, especially in light of what lies ahead of us this week. Regardless of the outcomes, we can trust God to save us because we have been waiting for Him. Now that doesn’t mean we do nothing in practicing the art of waiting. We go about the business He’s called us to—teaching, plumbing, farming, flying planes, etc.
While God can and does co-labor with men to accomplish His purposes in our lives, ultimately, our salvation only comes through Jesus and the work on the cross. The key for us in the days ahead is to wait on Him for our salvation, rejoicing with a glad heart.
