Monday's Message of Hope

Wait Patiently!

Hello, my dear friend!

One more verse that holds the meaning of bind together by twisting; gather together; patiently wait is well worth meditating on this week:

I waited patiently for the Lord; and He inclined to me, and heard my cry. (Ps 40:1, NKJV)

Sometimes in our waiting, God can seem so far away. We wonder if He even hears us or knows we exist. But the psalmist declares that He leans toward us and hears our cries. What a beautiful, comforting thought to know our great God and Savior bends down to comfort us in our pain.

As a matter of fact, the next verses describe a complete turnaround. Not only are we lifted out of the pit and placed on the rock, we begin to sing a new song of praise to the Lord. What a blessing to wait for Him, knowing He always has our best in mind no matter what the situation.

Though divorce and dissertation challenges and changes in jobs due to unethical supervision, God has always led me. Ross's sermon which I saw on line about navigating storms holding Jesus's hand is in sync with this Bible verse. Thank you, Lord, for holding my hand! Linaya

I have found for me the word wait means keep moving! I go out most days share our Lords love and meet as many physical needs I can. Consequently on the way my prayers/ needs are met! So glad you keep moving Penelope! Blessings! Many more surprises are moving for you!
